Happy Birthday Rob Elliott
October 8th, 2006 at 09:36am
Today, according to 2UE is Rob Elliot’s birthday. Rob is arguably best known for his role as host of Wheel Of Fortune.
Rob is shown in the lower right corner of this picture.
It is unclear whether Rob was born in 1965 or 1966, but either way, happy birthday Rob, Wheel was never the same when you left.

I remember when Rob sold five E’s for twenty bucks. They were the cheapest in town.

Samuel,
When can we come to hope for another episode of Samuel in Dolgnwot?

Roger, I must have missed that episode…pity there are very few videos of Rob on Wheel floating about the Internet at the moment.
Clayton, Dolgnwot series two finished a while back, I am considering running another series next year.

Yes, and it turns out it was prophetic, for you are indeed famous!

I do remember, Samuel, that series two has indeed finished, however, my post was more of a hint at the over-whelming voice that can be heard around the lands:
Series three!

I think you captured Rob extremely well in this artwork – I recognised him immediately!

Does anybody else remember the 80s rap song ‘spin that wheel’?
Five Es for $20… unheard of!

I don’t remember that song Colonel. But when Rob sold those E’s he did wink his eye mischievously.

Great to see some actually got the 5 E’s for $50 joke.
Cheers and I find this all a bit bizzare.
Rob.
