Old Intro for Samuel’s Persiflage

Due to popular demand, I have now placed the old intro for Samuel’s Persiflage online.
It may make an occasional special appearance in future episodes of Samuel’s Persiflage, but not as the intro.

Can I get that onto my pod or is it copyrighted. I spose i could edit it out of persiflage number one.

Holy Moly. Thats. That could be released is a six inch vinyl. I love this extended mix.

Is that Hammond organ and the theremin I hear on that track?

I think Samuel may have used a small xylophone that was issued to him at primary school and has been reluctant to give it back ever since.
The second instrument has got me stumped. Samuel, are you playing two instruments at once or is someone else playing your instrument?
I do think however, that Samuels’ falsetto is far better than The Bee Gees ‘Saturday Night Fever’ soundtrack.

Is it coincidental that Persiflage number 2 appeared just before Osama’s timely return to audio?
As I have stated I quite like the original intro and have managed to keep the pea soup down at this stage. One does wonder however, why prisoners at the CIA’s so called ‘black ops’ interrogation centres heads keep turning 360 degrees then exploding.
Are they using intro 1 as a method of torture? Or is it propaganda planted by Al Jazeera (by way of RSS feed from SGS) equivelent to that of a cyanide capsule?

Samuel’s Persiflage is not designed with any hidden messages, if you are receiving hidden messages then I suggest that you either check if the CIA or other agencies are intercepting your internet access and sending you alternative data, or that you see your doctor for an increase on your medication.

Kerces, it was a childs metallophone (metal xylophone) with 8 notes and a childs marimba with 4 notes (I was always told that it was a bongo, whilst that is incorrect, I still refer to it affectionately as that).
The music was recorded in three parts. The first part was the marimba, which I recorded whilst thinking about the lyrics, I then recorded the metallophone whilst listening to the marimba through headphones and thinking about the lyrics. The last recorded section was the vocals, which occured whilst listening to the marimba in headphones. The computer used for the recording is a bit long in the tooth and can’t handle playing multiple audio tracks AND recording one at the same time.
I did perform a bit of post production which involved altering volume and noise filtering, it also involved carefully looping the middle section (the part between first and second set of vocals) so that it would be long enough for the intro.
I had a lot of fun with it, but I think the new intro sounds better (it also doesn’t seem to scare people away).
