  IMO, Lawsie should have been Australian of the year.

  Personally, I’d wait until he retires to give him that award, I just think the award would be more meaningful with a full career behind him.

  And I think Dr. Flannery is a worthy recipient, even if I do think there is much more to climate change than just human intervention.

  I think its a good choice. He is accomplished and has done well to spread his thinking into the public forum.

  than the various “Best Australian BloggerAward”, which, I might add, are a dime a dozen !
