2QN back on the air
July 1st, 2009 at 05:27pm
2QN in Deniliquin is now back on the air after a wind gust during a storm knocked over their transmission tower yesterday.
The station went off the air at about 4pm yesterday, and was returned to the airwaves this afternoon at around 2pm. According to a staff member’s Facebook messages, 2QN’s sister station Classic Rock was also taken off the air in the incident.
Other reports say that power in Deniliquin was restored this afternoon, after being lost in yesterday’s storm.

Hi Samuel,
Great pics, for which I thank you.
These are the first high res close ups I’ve seen of the tower & transmitter building.
Certainly showing their age, but brings back nice memories of Deniliquin.

ps.
Interesting dreams you have, & I’m very impressed with your discipline in recalling & recording them.
How many hours on average, of ‘quality’ sleep do you get?,
& how’s your diet?.
Are they becoming more frequent, & have you become more aware of them the following day?.

Thanks Lynn and nbrettoner. I really should post the pictures of Deni’s airport soon.
As for the dreams, the amount of sleep varies, but my diet is steady and pretty good.
The dreams do seem to be more frequent of late, and I can generally remember the details as long as I try to remember them when I wake up and jot down a few notes. I have notes of more dreams at home, I will have to post those dreams soon.

No, completely forgot. I’ll have to find them and upload them this week.
Looks like today’s aircheck and side B of a tape will wait until tomorrow too.
