What’s new with the ABC?
January 29th, 2008 at 06:24pm
This ABC ident has me wondering, what’s changing?
Apart from, perhaps, a new colour scheme (I don’t suppose red, white and blue means they’re being purchased by America’s ABC?) I can’t see an awful lot that’s new here…and if Peter Cundall retired, why is he still in the promos?
It’s funny that this ident has appeared, as I was going to post some ABC promos I recorded around the time of The Bill on Saturday…I was quite pleased with what I saw…more on that tomorrow.

If you could open your mind and listen to a real radio station every now and again (instead of the commercial crap you seem to have an unhealthy and unnatural fetish for) you would have known about the changes that are about to occur:

From the linked ABC news article:
“Posted 7 hours 24 minutes ago”
I posted my article 22 hours ago…am I supposed to be a fortune teller now? Should I start a daily horoscope column?
And just so you know act, AAP (and therefore the vast majority of commercial news services) have been running with the ABC logo story all day…it’s hardly something you would only hear about from the ABC.
And to think this is the response I get when I show some genuine interest in a broadcaster I’m often accused of hating.
