Macleod’s Daughters

November 21st, 2007 at 01:30pm

Good afternoon John,

Macleod's Daughters is being cancelled…finally some good news! I know I don't have to watch it, but I can't escape the promos…they are bad enough.

Even better, less than eleven hours of political advertising to go. This is turning out to be a very good day.

Regards,

I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did.
I never thought it was much chop, but obviously there were a lot of viewers who liked it.

I never watched that show so I can’t comment on it’s quality.
However if they are folding it it couldn’t have been a must watch.
I’d like to see more shows where they capture Australians being Australian and stop copying other countries.
How about bringing Skippy The Bush Kangaroo back, only this time make him bionic.
It would be totally believable then when we see skippy doing brain surgery on Sonny.
Give him a cool theme too, that old theme sounds too camp.

Did you hear the one about the 6 million dollar man with the 6 dollar appendage.

No. How does the rest of that one go?

That’s all there is, there ain’t no more.

The punchline is included in the original statement.
