Why Clive Gets Two Assistants

Good morning John,
I think the reason Clive gets two assistants and you and Stuart don't get any, is that Clive comes across as the sort of person who would argue that panelling and producing are separate jobs, and if he had to do them he would want the pay those jobs attract on top of his normal pay. He would probably also refuse to do the jobs anyway.

Yes John, it would be. One of the callers to John Kerr’s show last night commented on how it’s unfair that Clive gets two assistants when John and Stuart Bocking get none.
David, I have to disagree, I think Clive is good in small doses, but I wouldn’t want him to be on too often.

How the hell can anyone listen to John Kerr….I have been a listener to 2ue for the past 30 years and the only announcer i can’t listen to is Kerr….The fact that he has never been offered a daytime roll even on a fill in basis should tell him something….give me Clive anyday

I heard that John Laws has an assistant to remove chewing gum from his mouth once all the flavour has been chewed out of it.
Or maybe that was J-Lo? I get them confused sometimes.
