Samuel’s Footy Tips Swans back-to-back ACTAFL Premiers!

ACTAFL Grand Final

September 24th, 2006 at 02:01pm

The ACTAFL Grand Final should get underway at Manuka Oval shortly, with the Belconnen Magpies up against the Sydney Swans Reserves. Sydney are undefeated this year (and last year too apparently), whilst Belconnen won the three premierships before that.

I’m tipping Belconnen to win, the only real reason being that last year when Sydney won the ACTAFL Grand Final they also won the AFL Grand Final…and as I intend on tipping West Coast to defeat Sydney win the AFL Grand Final this year, I also shall tip Belconnen to defeat Sydney, and influence the AFL Grand Final by omen.

Perhaps I’m nuts, but go the Magpies!

Perhaps you can bring along a few supporters from one of your walks with Nattie!

Interesting idea Loki. I’m more concerned about the dismal media coverage of the event…it should have finished just before 5pm, but so far there is no record ANYWHERE of who won.

    Yes Loki!!!!!!!!!

Maybe that mysterious person that Samuel sends coded messages to via this website.

Agreed Samuel. The coverage was dismal. Dismal I tell you! NGE. Not bloody good enough!

Mr Spear, I was talking about the omnipresent Magpies, but I would suggest that Samuel now also starts to give a “friendly hello” to the Swans that frequent Lake Burley Griffin in the light of this recent victory.

As to coded messages, I am yet to receive any – although I probably wouldn’t recognise them if they were coded.

I also perused Samuel in Dolgnwort with the 3D glasses and I encountered nothing odd whatsoever.
