For those of you who are interested, the Save Dickson College campaign has a website at http://www.freewebs.com/savedickson/.
There is also a regularly updated mailing list which seems to be doing quite a good job of keeping people up to date on what’s happening in the Save Dickson College campaign. To join the mailing list, simply send an email to savedicksoncollege@iinet.net.au.

Schools cost money, and keeping a school open with less than 20 students costs A LOT of money.
Dickson College is not one of those schools. When I first heard the plan that Dicko was going to be merged with Campbell the first thought that popped into my head was “You what?!” I dont know WHAT they’re thinking with this move. Maybe they walked into Campbell, saw some empty seats and thought “Hey! I’ve got a good idea!”
Guess what, whoever thought that, Its not a good idea. You’re killing the rainforest, and making a lot kiddies and community members unhappy.
As much as I hate going with the crowd on anything, especially certain members of the local Dickson College pesantry, Saying there’s room in Campbell High for more kids is like saying there’s bias at the ABC: Where’s the proof?

Well Sam, you should have lived in Vic in the ninties under Kennett. He closed all the schools and sacked all the public servants. I agree Save Dickson! and save the G-S name by visiting BNU!
