Petrol Prices
April 3rd, 2007 at 10:29pm
Good evening again Stuart,
And just on the topic of petrol prices…well the petrol station across the road from my workplace here in Canberra has been full-to-overflowing since at least 4pm. Unleaded petrol there is 120.9 cents per litre. I suppose everyone is trying to refuel before the price rises later in the week in the lead-up to Easter.
Regards,
Samuel Gordon-Stewart

No John, I’ve got other things to do.

That’s too bad. I was going to ask you to get me a Pauline Hanson
showbag and a David Hicks showbag (as heard on the John Laws program today).
I particularly wanted to get a copy of the “Please Explain” booklet
that comes in the Pauline Hanson showbag.
Oh well …….. perhaps next year.

Word on the grapevine is that the “Hicks showbag” contains a toy
hand grenade, a toy bazooka, a toy machine gun, and imitation sticks of dynamite, along with a booklet titled “Your guide to accommodation free holidays”.

Oh… and there’s a rumour that there might be a David Oldfield showbag as well, but that’s pure speculation at this stage.
I wouldn’t even try to guess what might be in the David Oldfield
showbag !

Perhaps an SGS showbag may be more appropriate ……….

In response to comment five…that’s probably a wise move John.
As for comment six, would you care to speculate as to what you would put in an SGS showbag?

Ummmm …… a transistor radio, some crayons, an “Understanding
Linux” booklet ?

Naturally it wouldn’t contain an imitation police hat, vest, and gun, like the $15 “Police” showbag.

Maybe a replica Action bus? The green one.
