Making some money on the favourite greyhound running a place

August 28th, 2024 at 07:40pm

The place market for greyhounds is notoriously difficult to make money from, with low prices and limited liquidity, but with some careful selection criteria to ensure enough market liquidity and carefully keeping bet size within a reasonably narrow window, a profit can be made.

In this video I show you some settings in SAW Greyhounds Deluxe to turn a profit in the place market. It’s not huge money, but every little bit helps.

Another nice angle Samuel. Tested it over the past 2 days on Aus dog races over 451mts plus with 5 & 6 starters $1.3 minimum div; 13 selections for 10 returns [another 4 were below $1.3] Definite scope for further research which I shall undertake soon. Cheers Doug

    Hi Samuel

After you were talking about shorties staking some time back, I tried it with Watch the Gap bot Favs (Horses) Aus and NZ only with set up very close to one recommended with the bot.
So far after 17 days I have had 13 winning days and average daily return is just under $2 with a $10 bank.
Today I have increased bank to $15.
I will be happy if this small punt can get me $20 a week and hope to ad some of your interesting insights to other bots in time.
    Cheers

Just a follow up on my post re 5/6 dog races.Tested over first 10 days of August;49 wins from 71 bets.
No divs available but estimate 1.5. Definitely has legs with the right staking. Doug
