On the British Prime Minister’s very own betting scandal UK election circus is underway

Making the most of short-priced runners

July 2nd, 2024 at 10:55pm

Today I’m looking at how the Shorties Staking plan can be used to make the most of short-priced runners, with a particular focus on the favourite in the place market of British horse and greyhound races, although the system can be used on a much wider variety of sports and markets. While this is primarily a manual betting staking plan, I also look at ways to use automation to assist with it.

Good video Samuel;I have an idle Greyhound Backing bot at present and will try favourites in the place market on races with only 2 place dividends;smaller fields & better odds but of course only 2 divs.
Will test on a small level stake for a couple of weeks to get a feel for its consistency and viability for a progressive staking plan.
    All the best Doug

That sounds like a good idea Doug. The UK markets where I have found this works reasonably well with greyhounds are of course limited to 2 places as there’s a maximum of six runners. Although I learned over the weekend that Towcester used to have 8 runners once upon a time.

I still owe you an email I think. When I’m sitting around watching UK election results tomorrow I’ll try to compile the data I was going to send to you.
