Does that look like a copy?

Oh how I love it when people try to pass off my work as their own work.
Apart from an additional image that the beginning of “their” article, it’s a word for word, image for image copy of my editorial about magpies. I may never have known, but when they referenced an image from my website, Google’s blog search interpreted it as a link to this blog and displayed it as such on my administrative home page.
As per the licence for content on this website, they are free to use that article, as long as they link back to me as the source of it (or attribute it to me in any other way which may be agreed to). I will be contacting the publisher of the copyright violation to seek a link, hopefully they will be co-operative and I won’t be forced to report a copyright violation to Yahoo.
I have sent the following message to the person responsible for that blog via Yahoo’s message form system:
Subject: Direct copy of one of my blog posts
Hello,
I am writing to you as you appear to have copied one of my blog posts. My editorial about being nice to magpies, published in August 2006 at https://samuelgordonstewart.com/2006/08/be-nice-to-the-magpies-and-the-magpies-will-be-nice-to-you has been directly copied to http://au.blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-JMop2G40Y6Mk_lwLaImw3pxaXYzQ2Co-?cq=1&p=536 without attribution.
As per the copyright notice linked to at the bottom of that page, and every other page, on my blog (see https://samuelgordonstewart.com/2006/10/copyright-licence-etc) you are free to use my content as long as you attribute it to me. I therefore request that you place a link to my blog on your entry about magpies, or contact me so that we can reach a mutual agreement about this issue.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Regards,
Samuel Gordon-Stewart

Heh, young eh? Relative of yours?
All I ask for is a link…and I’m yet to hear back, I’ll give it a few days before I either bother Yahoo or forget about it.
In many ways I’m rather flattered that they liked my editorial enough to copy it, especially seeing as they’re not one of the robots that were copying my stuff for a while, but I’d still like some attribution.
