Samuel’s Musician Of The Week
February 3rd, 2008 at 07:09pm
This week’s award goes to Neil Diamond, and the feature song is “Sweet Caroline”.
Where it began
I can’t begin to know when
But then I know its growin’ strongWas in the spring
And spring became the summer
Who’d have believed you’d come alongHands, touchin’ hands
Reachin’ out
Touchin’ me
Touchin’ youSweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I’ve been inclined
To believe they never would
But now ILook at the night
And it don’t seem so lonely
We fill it up with only two
And when I hurt
Hurtin’ runs off my shoulders
How can I hurt when holdin’ youWarm, touchin’ warm
Reachin’ out
Touchin’ me
Touchin’ youSweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
I’ve been inclined
To believe they never would
Oh, no, noSweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
Sweet Caroline
I believed they never could
Sweet Caroline
Good times never seemed so good
Sweet Caroline

Great choice. I love Neil DIamond. I’ve seen him live at the Ent Cent a couple of times – fantastic performer.
Some singers are pretty bad live, but I’ve got to say that Neil has got all the moves and is highly entertaining on stage. If I were a sheila, I’d throw my knickers.

If I were a sheila, I’d start wearing knickers. Some of the time, anyway.
