In the next video I will be answering some of the questions which have been asked about Hard ‘N’ Soft Staking. Many I have already answered here on in the YouTube comments or by email, but I think it would be good to compile a bunch of them into an FAQ video. If there are more questions between now and then, I’ll certainly consider adding them to the video.

A past tipster of tennis used to espouse a lay on players priced between 1.7 and 1.9 on Betfair.
Reversing this to back the underdog could be a good candidate for this plan; decent strike rate at “odds against” with[ I presume[ no long losing runs. Just putting it out there. Doug

That’s a very good and interesting idea. I can tell you that backing the favourite in tennis is hard going. Not bad as a SAW strategy although has its moments which require some care and attention…but on Hard N Soft it varies from working really well to working really poorly. I’ll take a look through my data from the last couple of weeks and see if I can build an estimate of how backing the underdog when favourite is 1.7 to 1.9 might have worked out.
