Rain in Deniliquin and surrounds seems to have everyone excited, and if time permits, you can’t escape crime by visiting a rural area.

That’s this morning on the 1WAY FM breakfast show with James Scott at about 7:45am, via telephone from the studios of 2QN Deniliquin.

    Hi Samuel,

Just got back last Thursday from two weeks in the Riverina.
Finally met my project partner of the past five years, as we did an exploratory expedition to inspect the old Narrandera_Tocumwal branch line, & McIntyre Field. Our ‘project’ is the authentic re-creation of a virtual-world representation; circa 1940’s through to mid-1960’s.

Craig picked me up from the XPT at Wagga (9th May) then we spent the next few days driving/walking/talking with locals & taking about 1,000 pics. The laptop helped, although we hardly got online with it. Craig dropped me off in Wagga 16th, for my XPT return trip to Coffs Harbour.

However I was able to squeeze in some breaks, to visit friends & family. Even got over to Deni for an overnight stay & catch-up with friends. Unforgivably short time, but well worth it.

Thanks for all the great updates. I’m just now skimming through your blogsite, enjoying 2QN again

    Noel
