Election 2007 – 8:05pm

November 24th, 2007 at 08:04pm

Nationally it’s looking very good for Labor:
Labor 53
Coalition 32
Independent 1

Queensland still hasn’t produced a definitive result, but it looks like Queensland and Western Australia will be the places which decide the result. The bottom line is that the coalition need to win these states to win the election. If the Queensland results don’t show a swing to the coalition within the next hour, you can expect Kevin Rudd to claim victory at about 9:30…otherwise it will probably be 10:30 or 11pm before we can be sure enough of the result to see a leader claim victory.
