Well all I can say is that I am pleased that the polls are swinging back to the coalition…the longer this election campaign has gone on, the less I trusted or agreed with Kevin Rudd and his colleagues, in fact I received one of the "blue moon" mailings from my local member Bob McMullan in the post today and I will be hand delivering it back to his office in the morning and requesting that he doesn't send any more to me as he is only wasting tax payer's money by sending stuff to me that I don't want to see.
My local liberal candidate Troy Williams is paying $15 to win on Centrebet…and the coalition are paying $3.40 to win overall…I think I might put a few dollars on them.

I did. I was none to impressed by the fact that Mr. McMullan’s staff didn’t even want to know why I do not intend on voting for him at this stage. They just smiled and took the envelope.
About the only comment I got out of them was in response to my light-hearted quip about their door chime alerting them to the front door being opened. “What an awful noise” I said
“Yes it is” was their response.
They did Bob no favours.

This is amusingly one-sided.
Did you also return the same mail from Garry Humphries? Or does the criticism not apply if you agree with what you’re sent?

I hear from Mr. Humphries a lot more often than I hear from Mr. McMullan, and at this point in time I have no reason to be upset with Mr. Humphries, so of course I didn’t reject his mailout.
If Mr. McMullan’s staff had been interested in finding out any of the reasons I’m not happy with Mr. McMullan, and perhaps mentioned some reasons I could agree with as to why I should support him, then I would have been more than happy to accept his mailout.
Sadly for him, and the chances of me voting for his side of politics, it’s now up to his leader to produce rabbits from hats, because my previous doubts about Mr. McMullan’s effectiveness as my representative have been confirmed, and he can now only get my vote if his party somehow manage to get my vote back…it’ll be tough, but I’m keeping an open mind, and if that means I have to vote for a poor local representative in order to get a better nation, then I may just do that…the rabbits have to come first though.
I’m not entirely sure that any of that made any sense…let me know if you want it clarified.
