What Drives Me Nuts Noise

Flu

September 15th, 2007 at 01:28am

Good morning John,

I'm having an absolute shocker of a year…this time around I've managed to catch a gastric flu. In the last day or so I had a really awful 28 hour period where I felt awful and couldn't keep any food or drink down. In fact since lunch time on Thursday the only food I've been able to successfully eat is a bowl of tinned peaches and a croissant with cheese…and those were a few hours ago due to cravings.

I still feel pretty awful but at least the sore throat is gone…I can put up with headaches and the various other mildly disgusting symptoms…but I can not stand having a sore throat.

By the way, did you see any of the AFL final last night. It was an absolute thriller, the first AFL final to go to extra time in years. Collingwood ended up defeating West Coast by 19 points, but without a doubt it was one of the best matches of the year.

Regards,
Samuel Gordon-Stewart

That’s why I take apple cider vinegar everyday to ward off all nasty bugs from my system and so far so good.
Take two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and wash it down with 2 glasses of water just once a day, that’s my magic daily tonic and it works for me.
Also, keep your mouth as clean as possible by brushing after you eat and gargle a mouthwash at least twice a day as brushing alone doesn’t clean the entire mouth.
Good oral care can stop germ warfare attacking your throat.
    Good health to you Samuel.

Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly Samuel. I may have missed something lately? A while ago you alluded to an announcement about persiflage. I don’t know if I have missed it. Could you please let me know if I have missed the announcement.

No you didn’t miss the announcement…I actually forgot all about it.

It will happen in the coming week (as long as I remember).

I had gastric last year – firstly in April where I had vomiting, and then again in July where it came out the other end! Wasn’t a good year. Hope you feel better soon Sam, it’s a curse that thing.

I repeated your April performance Frankster. It was part of the reason I used the phrase “the various other mildly disgusting symptoms” when writing an email destined to be read on the air.

The good news is that I’m now down to just an occasional headache and a rather annoying cough.
