Time to film the green mesh

I had a rather unusual dream a couple nights ago. In this dream a film crew is scheduled to arrive at my house on Saturday morning, however for some reason Saturday somehow turns in to AFL Grand Final day, and the film crew turned at 3:30pm, and then to make matters more peculiar, they turned up with a heap of green mesh and decided to film that.

As it happens a film crew is coming on Saturday, but there is no chance of these people turning up on Grand Final day, and they certainly won’t be filming green mesh.

What are you filming, Sambo?

It’s a documentary, and I’m only a part of it, not running it.

I’m not sure how much I can say.

Hmm, interesting…. Will it be shown on telly, or is it for a film festival?

I believe the aim is to have it shown on television, however I will have to check. I’ll try and get that information to you this afternoon.

At this stage there isn’t really a plan as such…it will probably be entered in a film festival or something similar, and it would be nice for a television station such as SBS to show it, however that is more of a hope than a plan.

Depending on where it’s shown, I may be able to show the video on this website.

The documentary is about the people who call talkback radio. I probably shouldn’t elaborate on it at this stage.

That sounds really interesting actually… It could be an example of how a quirky kind of idea could become really big… like those docos of spelling bees in America.

Wherever it is shown, I do hope we get to see it.

I am looking forward to it. Are you being paid for it?

Not being paid for it (at least not as far as I know) but I’m taking part because I want to, not for financial gain.

How did the film crew go?
