I rang the number but they did not tell me who won the best dressed.

I won like $3.15
I bet $5
All rather anti-climatic
First time I had a go on the Cup since turning 18
Don’t think I’ll do it again
*sigh*

Correction as per my Pop
‘no you lost $1.85’

I’m hoping to break even in the next race…but if not, well not to worry. I spent $16 at the TAB (including the race still to come), another $2 on a sweep at work (I had Pop Rock…so much for that).

Apparently I’m in a $5 sweep at Dad’s work…I don’t know who I had or if I won…

That’s bad luck Jey. What celebrity most resembles a horse? My money is on Sarah Jessica-Parker, followed by Camilla Parker-Bowles.

It seems that the sweep at work does pay for second and third as well as first…don’t know how much yet!

Sarah Jessica Parker does have quite a horse face

Cate Blanchet looks a clydesdale.

Good to see you again Colonel.

Samuel, I applaud your responsible gambling stance. This blog seems to have amazing influence, and from what I’ve seen some of the contributors have indulged in some very odd behaviour, so you can’t be too careful.

Thanks Loki!

My problem is not so much with gambling, but with visiting this site. Is it possible that Sam could set up a helpline for those addicted to pine pieces, patchwork art and the daily to-ings and fro-ings of Clive, the merry band of Johns, Stans, and Waynes?
