Samuel In Dolgnwot: Series 2, Episode 2

Just wondering why the bottom left square is orange rather than light blue and the bottom right square is red rather than brown. Is this ambiguous ‘sense-data’ or have you just extended the piece? I am asking this because this technique is not used in the series two title graphic but was used in episode one. Is your modus operandi still patchwork representationalism or is there a logical concept behind the colours?

Another good picture Sam. I wonder if Sam will strike gold? Will he opt for hand-pan technique, or use a cradle-sifter? Perhaps, seeing as computers have been developed, he will use one of those electronic metal-detecting devices to dig up a nugget.

Sam will need to be careful on his walk to the gold fields though. Unless he changes out of the full-length body-sock garment, fetching though it is, he could risk being knocked down by a careless pony and trap. Blending in so well to the natural Dolgnwot environment could pose a serious risk on the roads. Sam should consider wearing a bright-orange highlighter sash for safety’s sake.

Maybe he will use Anna Nicole Smith.

Wonko, I’m sure Samuel will find a way to avoid blending in to the background whilst travelling, and I think checking the previous series may shed some light on Samuel’s gold finding techniques.

The body sock troubles me, though. Could this be the nub of the spiral, the ‘gene sequence’ if you will, from which all life in Dolgnowt springs?
