Due to popular demand, I have taken a photo of a photo which was seen in another photo.
There were a few requests for the photo seen in the background of this photo:

To answer some questions about the photo, the lady is a family friend who is affectionately known as my nanny, the man is her late husband. I don’t know where the photo was taken.
Unfortunately the photo was never particularly clear in the first place.

I really like that photo Samuel, me being a nostalgia buff as well.

I am also riveted by that picture because of the peaceful contented expression on the lady’s face. It is an magical photo and should be displayed to be enjoyed by all.
Such an amazing moment back in time, that i was sure you were the gifted snapper of picture.

Actually I wouldn’t have a clue who took the photo, from memory we received it as a present.

well the person who took this picture has a gift. I would be over the moon if someone handed me a framed picture of that calibre.
Sad to read that the gent in the photo passed away. Was it a long time ago?? Were you very close to them all your life??

He passed away quite a few years ago, and yes, they are/were close family friends.

The lady bears a striking likeness to a lady i worked with Martha Vardy She retired in the late 90’s she worked until 70.
So much like her and the man actually looks like robert her brother!.
I wonder could it be them?!
I see her occasionally at the local shops i will ask her if she camped / liked the bush!.

Unless they used an alias in public then it isn’t them, but it is an interesting coincidence none the less.
