This dream you describe reminds me of dreams i used to have when i was a child, the only thing that deserves to be commented on was the last paragraph(if you could call it that).

This idea that a dream can change unpredictably is a liitle thing called unconscious thought, which all dreams are subject to. When you sleep you are affected by alll manner of things but imparticularly unconscious thought, its all to do with the “otherside of your brain whooooo pretty cool hey!”
Anyhow i am not going to give a sermon about it, you should look into and thus understand your dreams a little better 🙂

Thanks for stopping by viscous_fluids_burns, you wouldn’t be the first to decide that my site is odd, I even think it is odd, but I enjoy writing it.

I am well aware of unconcious thought, many of my dreams contain unusual situations, and I do often think about them to see if I can find a meaning.

The thing I found particularly intuiging about this dream was that the scenery changed multiple times, but my activity did not. Once I was seated at that table, I did not leave, despite the surrounding environment changing abruptly a few times. This is rather unusual for my dreams as the changes of scenery generally change the entire situation.

As Freud says, the thing about the unconscious is that it doesn’t know the difference between fantasy and reality, and so pretty much anything is possible in dreams. But they are determined by the symbolic structure of your unconscious, which is initially derived from conscious experience, and that tends to limit things a lot.

The other thing i ask is if you think/feel these chocolate donuts you ate are actually representing something else? perhaps your mind replaced the original object with chocolate donuts?

you noted yourself that they were the only constant apart from your person? hence the title of the discussion

p.s. as for the referal to drugs, i find myself wondering have you tried anything or are you on anything perscribed? if this is to personal then i respect that, everybodys entiled to a little privacy even if they post their thoughts on the internet 🙂
and if you do not take drugs(anytype) what are your thoughts on the matter? do you belive society is corrupted by them or enlightened?
