31.25% of a day walking

March 2nd, 2009 at 05:31am

Not counting time spent walking in buildings from one room to another, I have walked for seven and a half hours in the last 24 hours. I think it’s safe to say that my legs want to submit a leave form…and any vague notion that I may have had about walking to Deniliquin has now been vanquished.

I’m tired, but I can’t seem to sleep, and I have to wonder if somebody out there has a voodoo doll version of me, or if I’ve inherited some ancient curse. The people who designed the Ford Zetec engine used in the 95/96 model Mondeos better hope that I never meet them, because a meeting will not be pleasant. It seems that the 200 megametre mark is fatal for about 60% of these engines…lucky me being in that 60% twice.

History repeating itself much?
