Kevin Rudd’s Labor government have been in power for a year, which leads me to pose the question:
After a year of the Kevin Rudd Labor government, how do you rate their performance?

-

- They’re destroying the country
Total Votes: 26

Any reasoning to go with your answer is welcome in the comments.

So far, they are doing quite well on the unity front. Often first terms are polluted with newly empowered minorities and special interests playing tug-of-war to ensure that they become winners.
Apart from a few harmless, but embarrassing, gaffes from Wayne Swan (and you have to sympathise with him – he has been under a lot of scrutiny) the government has kept on message and scandal-free.
The Liberals’ only hope of making Rudd a one-term PM was if he were to come into office and suffer from a bumbling, apparently incompetent and scandal-ridden bunch of rag-tag cronies. That hasn’t happened. Rudd will be re-elected in 24 months.
