OK, maybe that wasn’t such a great idea

It would appear that I’m addicted to blogging. I’ve driven myself nuts over the last week with things I would like to write about before realising that, no, I can not do that.

I do need a break from blogging, so rather than closing the site completely, I will just minimise the amount that I write on here for a few weeks. I think that is a better idea.

I’ve also removed the musicians of the week waiting list from my previous post as there is no real point to it being there.

Why am I not surprised that this has occurred?

First it was the aborted “Samuel for Fraser” campaign which stalled when holiday arrangements couldn’t be changed, now this.

I think someone needs to think through the full ramifications of what they do first before making such rash decisions.

It was somewhat of an inevitable decision in retrospect. I probably shouldn’t rely on decisions I make over many nights while feeling depressed and/or having a migraine.

First it was the aborted “Samuel for Fraser” campaign which stalled when holiday arrangements couldn’t be changed, now this.

Interesting interpretation of an historical (but not very noteworthy) event. The fact that I had holiday arrangements had nothing to do with my decision, it was however a convenient escape from Canberra after the decision was taken.

Perhaps I should have thought about the consequences of closing my blog for a bit longer, but I spent nearly a week actively pondering it, and a couple months intermittently thinking about it…It seemed like the right decision at the time.

As annoying as it may be, I’m human, I can’t see the future, and my decisions are not perfect.
