Happy Birthday Marcella Zemanek

Today is the birthday of Marcella Zemanek, wife of the late Stan Zemanek.
Marcella has a weekly movie review segment on Glenn Wheeler’s weekend afternoon show on 2UE, and Glenn has turned it in to a birthday party.

I liked what John Howard said to the Chaser team Friday morning Pen.
The Chaser team doesn’t upset me, I simply don’t watch it anymore, easy as that.
It’s just a matter off time before they offend the wrong person and tragedy prevails and that’ll be the end of that.

Usually I’m a fan of the Chaser. Their jokes often walk the fine line between humour and bad taste, and usually when they cross the line it is only slightly, and still quite funny in my view.
However, I found the song particularly offensive and disgusting. I just can’t see the funny side of it, and I doubt I will be watching another one of their broadcasts in the near future.
That gives me an idea…I can see the ABC building in Ultimo from my hotel room, perhaps I should write them a letter and hand deliver it.
