Samuel’s Musician Of The Week

January 7th, 2007 at 06:36pm

After this annual Christmas Musician Of The Week Awards and a short break, Samuel’s Musician(s) Of The Week is back. This week the award goes to Connie Francis, and the feature song is one which somehow manages to go for just over two minutes without an instrumental interlude…namely “Who’s Sorry Now?”

Who’s sorry now?
Who’s sorry now?
Whose heart is achin’ for breakin’ each vow?
Who’s sad and blue?
Who’s cryin’ too?
Just like I cried over you.

Right to the end
Just like a friend
I tried to warn you somehow
You had your way
Now you must pay
I’m glad that you’re sorry now!

Right to the end
Just like a friend
I tried to warn you somehow
You had your way
Now you must pay
I’m glad that you’re sorry now…

Samuel

But I prefer her song – ‘ Lip Lip Lipstick on Your Col Col Col Collar’.
