Good afternoon Kris,
Congratulations on a job well done this week Kris, I am certain that this has been your best effort as a talkback host to date, I also think you've picked a great theme tune with that orchestral music you have been playing.
You actually remind me a bit of Kane Bond, and a bit of Stuart Bocking, it's an interesting combination and I think it will serve you very well in the future.
Anyway, well done Kris, I look forward to hearing you on 2CC again in the (hopefully not-to-distant) future.

He is a poor attempt at a shock jock….
Now I assume he is a nice guy, but the persona he puts on, on air, is just cringe-worthy!!

You must be David, and I assure you that I am not joking. Kris obviously isn’t a fan of George W Bush, but there is now law that says that he has to be.
Ultimately I think it’s a matter of “each to their own”.

I should clarify my Kane Bond and Stuart Bocking statement.
Kris reminds me a bit of Kane because Kane had strong, sometimes outlandish, opinions. I didn’t always agree with Kane, but he was fun to listen to.
Kris reminds me a bit of Stuart because Stuart knows how to have fun, whilst remaining serious, and get people to call in and send emails. On the latter point, I think the rest of 2CC’s local presenters could learn a thing or two from Kris.
As with all presenters, it is a matter of taste, I like Kris, but I’m sure there are plenty of people who don’t, and can’t understand how anyone can. To the same extent, I can’t stand Ross Solly (breakfast presenter on 666 ABC Canberra), I think he is a bumbling fool, and I can’t understand how anyone can listen to him…however, plenty of people listen to him, and seem to think he is excellent.
I hope I made my point.

I liked Kane, but I don’t think he’ll ever darken the doorstep of

And yes, Sambo, I am the Dave who emailed Kris. I was just stirring things up a bit. I do find him a little over the top and unreasonable, but my emails were all in good fun.

Based on his reaction to your emails, I think he knew you were stirring him up. Kris can be a bit over the top, but for someone who is still a pretty new talkback presenter I think he is doing well.

On-air it sounded like Kane wasn’t getting along with a couple other 2CC people, but as for his real reasons…beats me!
