Clothes Folding

July 31st, 2006 at 03:22pm

Usually I fold up and put away my basket full of washed clothes once every week or two, but lately I have taken to just pulling things out of the basket…unfortunately the basket was overflowing and it isn’t particularly convenient to find matching socks in a jumble of clothes, so I unloaded the basket onto my bed (plus the items which had overflowed onto the floor), but before I could get started Nattie made herself comfortable.

Nattie then moved to the chair at the end of my bed, and I found some socks I hadn’t taken out of their packing. They were made by Ausiie workers.

They were added to the pile of clothes to be sorted.

The items were then sorted into appropriate piles to be placed in the cupboard. The piles were socks, jumpers/shirts/skivvies, pants, pillow slips, hankies, pyjamas, singlets and underpants.

Nattie was quite comfortable on the chair.

The clothes were then placed away in their respective sections of the cupboards.

That was my main activity yesterday afternoon and was done whilst listening to the AFL on 2CA (3AW feed).

Samuel, I don’t wish to alarm you, but I fear that Nattie may be possessed, if not the tool of Satin already. She shows not the common red-eye in all her photos, but, alas, the far worse green-eye. Has there been an increase in her vomiting and/or barking? It is my belief that if you consult a priest upon this matter, yours and Nattie’s problems will be alleviated.

This is a classic post Samuel. Up there with the best of them. Very patriotic bed spread and socks. Nattie does look comfortable. I am glad that you don’t have the scarecrow laundry robot in your room. That would scare the pants off me.

I do miss the old crew…Wonko, the seeker of heat, HMV, brother sage, aunty jack, miss linguist…ahh the old days. I’m sure they would have something to add to this.

Have you thought about upgrading to a double bed? I mean I am still in a single one and I am 30 but I did have a double once and it was quite luxurious.

Chuck, my dear man, I still visit sometimes, but I am cross with Samuel for banning the wonderful Wonko The Sane.

When I was single I preferred a queen size bed, Chuck, I could sleep like a starfish 🙂

Plus it’s not much fun being single if you don’t have enough room for the occasional visitor *wink wink nudge nudge*

Yes it’s been a long time between posts for us Miss linguist.

It is widely agreed in internet circles that Samuel banning Wonko was way out of line. ‘Sorry if others were caught in the crossfire’ I thinks were Samuel’s words.

From what I understand heetseaker was on thin ice for his sheer naughtyness when posting but Samuel banning all in sundry is still a sore point around the traps.

Sure, it’s Samuel’s blog and his rules – I don’t have a problem with that but geez man, Samuel could get a job planning bombing missions in the middle east.

I don’t think the little dude will take offence to this post as it is just a difference of opinion but I do not support his decision.

Yeah I prefer a queen size bed too but what the flipping heck now I am single I may as well go back to a single bed. If I am lucky enough to procure a visitor this weekend after following nigels dating advice I will set up my swag and matress next to the single bed. Similar to a sleepover.

Sometimes I sleep in Nanna’s bed but thats’ not for here…

Further to my last, I think a petition to Chief Turnip about reinstating the old crew might be in order.

The ‘Gordon-Stewarts’ (a hit band named after Samuel) may even do a song about it. My persiflage remix has already hit the waves of air thanks to King Kyle.

A warm welcome to Clayton. Yes that dreaded green eye could become a problem. I can only hope that Natties faculties are strong enough to resist the will of the dark lord.
