Humphrey and Nattie

December 19th, 2005 at 12:09pm

This morning at 10:30 Nattie, Humphrey and myself watched an episode of Here’s Humphrey in which Humphrey built a magic car which went on an adventure and sent him postcards. As always, Here’s Humphrey was a lot of fun. Nattie sat on my lap right through the show, as did Humphrey, and after the show I took this photo of Nattie sitting with Humphrey.

As per usual, Humphrey will be making an appreance with his good friend Santa on Christmas eve on Carols By Candlelight. Nattie, Humphrey and myself will all be watching.

Is it my imagination, or does Humphrey have his paw on Nattie’s butt, and is he giving her a bit of a sleazy look?

    Meanwhile, Nattie’s looking decidedly nervous?

He may be King of the Kids, but it looks like that Humphrey’s a Funnny Old Fellow who indulges in a bit of blue behaviour away from the studio.

Nattie certainly looks entertained, what breed is she.
I have a Jack Russel called Henry who looks like her!

Heatseeker, No, Humphrey’s hand is on Nattie’s thigh, which is actually accidental as Nattie jumped off the lounge before I could take the photo, and that is where she ended up when I got her to jump on the lounge again.

Galaction, Nattie is a Jack Russell Terrier, which was (according to my information) the original wirey haired rabbitting version of the Jack Russell breed.

Yes she is a nice little dog they have the a wonderful temperament, i often read your blog its really good.
My Henry sounds so similar to Nattie!
He lovesTV, Soft toys, walking, laps, food ,bones
and puppacinos specifically made dog safe cappucinos.(I have one myself as Henry slurps his up).

    Thankyou Galaction, I appreciate that.

I must say that Nattie hates the smell of coffee and tea, so any puppacino would have to be free of coffee esence for her to even consider drinking it!

Maybe a doggie milkshake would suit Nattie! they have all the regular flavours, except chocolate as it is not good for dogs !!!!!!

  • 7. Samuel  |  December 19th, 2005 at 7:39 pm

I took my Henry to cafe bones today on our regular walk and he tried a doggielova a pavlova for dogs. He ate about 85% of it.
I am sure Nattie would like it, if you are in Sydney i am sure Nattie would love it!.
I spend about 40 minutes there a day, it takes 13 minutes for me and My Henry to walk down there.
Is there any where special you and Nattie stroll to?

I have great news sam . I went to my local vet and was shocked to find out my little Fifi is a boy.
I think that she and Nattie would be great together and would breed the most stunning intelligent little puppies.
We could then share the puppies.
By the way I would never let my Fifi get sweets as she has the prettiest teeth I’ve seen on a dog.
Does that Henry still have his own teeth, and if yes are they badly stained???

  • 15. Galaction  |  December 20th, 2005 at 6:35 pm

Henry has lost 2.5 teeth from chewing too many sticks!. His feet are ok they get tired sometimes when i run him but only in 4 minute intervals!.
I have a santa cap for him for christmas day.
Does fifi like dairy products, she may love a doggielatte

  • 16. Samspam  |  December 20th, 2005 at 6:44 pm

LIke hello, maybe THAT HENRY lost his 2 and a half teeth from having a careless diet full of sweets.
I have a Santa suit for my Fifi and a little suck full of bones.
Which is really great for his teeth . Which are soo white that they for been know to glow in the dark.
My Fifi only has BANANA SMOOTHIES from our local doggie heath caffee.
You and that Henry might benifit from going there and he might go from running from 4 to 20 minute intervals.

  • 17. Galaction  |  December 20th, 2005 at 7:12 pm

I know My Henry does not like banana but maybe a mango smoothie may be betteri will have to try that.
I would run him longer but he gets distracted.
My Henry’s teeth are not to bad he gets them checked by vet, and they were cleaned in August.
My Henry is good and plays in the yard making up for lots of exersise.
